GBP Architects’ offer holistic and responsive approach to designing buildings. We love a design challenge and innovation.
We have realised hundreds of buildings over the years that range from £150k to £15M building cost. One of our key sustainability principles through the years is ‘Design not Technology offers Longevity’.
We are experts in Sustainability. We understand fabric first approach, embodied carbon and life cycle of buildings, PassivHaus, BREEAM and EPC targets. We help our clients navigate low energy design and help them set their own airtightness and energy targets. We also keep on top of all latest technical developments in the industry.

Martin Johnson
FOUNDING Partner, Architect
Martin is an original founding partner of the practice that was formed in 1974 with then named partner Geoff Beardsley. Martin has great passion for delivering value for his clients.
His loyalty knows no bounds and some of his clients have spent the last 50 years working with him. He is an exceptional architect with unsurmountable technical expertise. In his free time, Martin enjoys spending time in his self-built French home.
Belinda Simpson
Partner, CDM Consultant
Belinda is a CDM consultant and health and safety specialist who has an uncanny ability to get on with people. Belinda has been with the business for over 30 years.
Belinda’s success is her ability to embrace the continuous changes within the profession, demands for compliance with regulatory bodies and the economy. In her free time, Belinda enjoys running community enterprises.
Gaston Verduchio
Partner, Architect
Gaston is a specialist in delivering large and medium residential schemes and community projects. Gaston is an excellent communicator who is able to find commonality with all his clients, be it a private client, housing associations, board of trustees or a developer.
Prior to GBP, Gaston worked in Dublin and Buenos Aires which gives him an edge when developing modern clean designs for his clients. Outside of work, Gaston is an ardent football supporter and a rather eclectic music enthusiast.
