Second Phase of Columbia House development sees planning successfully granted
GBP Architects have designed a new 78 unit apartment block that combines the aspects of the previous application for 3no. separate block with 48 units into one singe block. This allowed our client to maximise the value of the site while minimising the cost of the development during this difficult time that have seen a huge rise in building costs and an unstable residential market.
Adur and Worthing granted the application in July 2023 in a planning committee meeting. This was a great success after nearly 2 years of planning process that saw a number of design developments and revisions. GBP Architects worked closely with the Savills planning consultants, extensive design team and the local authority planning team.
