A home that grows with you

This project involved creating an extensive new basement with major structural alterations for a Victorian house in West London. The rear elevation was completely rebuilt, and a large ‘glass box’ extension used smart engineering alongside the latest seamless glass technology. The ground floor remodelling included a large kitchen, opening up the house to a newly landscaped garden and terraces.

Brightening up your floorspace

The client wanted to bring light into the ground floor, so GBP Architects installed bespoke internal glazed folding doors that linked the ground floor reception rooms with the new kitchen. These were designed in a traditional style to bridge the gap between the ‘new’ and the old.

Modern homes with classic design

Careful consideration was given to respectfully keep the feel of the Victorian house while incorporating modern features and state-of-the-art technology.
