LAXMI NARAYAN, Hounslow (phase 3)

A place of peace, for all people

The Laxmi Narayan is a long-term project, with its construction being carried out over a number of phases which started in 1999. In 2010, the Laxmi Narayan Cultural Trust appointed GBP Architects to produce working drawings for a Building Control Submission, provide tender, and administer the Building Contract for the construction of Phase II of the temple building, including Foyer, Entrance and Office Building. Phase III of the build realised the first-floor building work and integrated an entrance foyer and congregation hall.

Project design, quantity surveying, and construction management: we do it all

GBP Architects was also appointed CDM-coordinator and Quantity Surveyor services for the project. We  worked closely with the main contractor and structural engineer to ensure that the needs of the client were met whilst the original complex design concept was realised, to ensure smooth handover to the client body.
