Roz Ana Restaurant, Kingston Upon Thames

Indian-inspired, British-style

GBP Architects completed an interior design and refurbishment scheme for Roz Ana Indian Restaurant that spanned three storeys, including a basement.  Due to the success of the restaurant the client approached us in 2013 to extend the restaurant into part of an adjacent disused bank building.  This involved structural works to knock through at ground and basement level and the removal of a chimney breast.  The simplicity of the 1960’s façade (a later addition to the original Victorian building) was retained, with minimal intervention.

It’s not about the size, It’s about the story

This involved the replacing of windows, the unifying of the two buildings with a coherent colour scheme, new signage, and improved lighting.  Although the extension was a comparatively small project it represents a creative solution for a repeat client that enabled the continuing success of the restaurant.
